Stop neutering your design aesthetic to appease supposed future owners of your space. Do something cool for once and live a little. Make choices for you to enjoy, not choices that supposedly will enhance your home's value.
Can anyone have too many tools? It's a woodworker joke that there's never too many. But I'd like to suggest that a shop which has many varied tools is a shop that is likely diluted and of lower quality. Furthermore it's the lifestyle of a person whose interests are constantly changing and unwilling to focus.
